A cottage bakery is a bakery run out of our home kitchen.  The kitchen is certified by San Joaquin County Health, and we have all applicable business licenses, however we do not have a storefront.  Orders placed via the website are picked up from our home during the agreed to pick-up window.

Our cottage bakery is certified by San Joaquin Environmental Health Department.  We clean and sanitize prior to baking and perform frequent handwashing.

We do not have regular operating hours with a storefront, orders must be placed in advance with a pickup date and time scheduled.  We are generally open Monday through Saturday, but for specific pick-up time, refer to the order check out.  We are always closed on Sunday.

We do not bake in an allergen-free environment. While we do have select products that
do not contain dairy, eggs, peanuts, soy, tree nuts or wheat, all of our products are baked in an environment where wheat, milk, peanuts, tree nuts,
eggs and soy may be present in high volumes. Due to the presence of these allergens at all of our baking facilities, we do not recommend consuming any of
our desserts if you are allergic to wheat, nuts, soy, dairy or eggs.

Our Squares do not need to be refrigerated, but should be kept in a cool, dry place prior to enjoying. 

If you do not plan on enjoying your Squares right away:

Dessert Squares can be kept up to a week in an airtight container in the refrigerator. If storing for longer, seal in an airtight container and place in the freezer for up to a month. 

Snack Squares can be kept in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. 

Our Dessert Squares are slightly larger than 3″X3".

Our Snack Squares are slightly larger than 3″X3".

Our MEGA Squares are slightly larger than 9"X9".

Our Mini Squares are slightly larger than 1 1/2″X1 1/2".

We cannot guarantee that any of our products are allergen-free because we use shared equipment to create, prepare, bake, store and serve our Squares.  We do our best to control cross-contamination but cannot guarantee it does not happen.  Customers with allergies can find ingredient information for products on the labels of our products or online at SquaresBakeShop.com.

While the product is made with gluten free ingredients, our kitchen uses many gluten products and therefore we cannot guarantee any of our products are completely gluten-free.  That is why we call them gluten friendly. 

We have several Dessert Squares and Snack Squares that are Gluten Sensitive. Oatmeal & Brown Sugar, Oatmeal Raspberry, Cranberry Coconut, Salted Caramel, Praline Banana Bread and Caramel Chocolate are all gluten sensitive Dessert Squares. 

Avalanche, Money Maker, Klutzy Krispy, Butterscotch munch, Fluffer Nutter, and Out of the Milky Way are all gluten sensitive Snack Squares.

We are proud to offer Keto Dessert Squares.  Salted Caramel and Chocolate Obsession are both Keto.

Our Oatmeal Raspberry Dessert Square is vegan.  We also have several featured squares throughout the year that are vegan. 

We have several Soy-Free Squares. Almond, Salted Caramel, and Lemon are soy-free Dessert Squares.

Smores Snack Square is soy-free.

We offer several peanut-free Squares. 

Oatmeal Raspberry, Cranberry Coconut, Almond, Salted Caramel, Lemon, Better Than, Caramelicious Brownie, Coco Loco Brownie are all peanut-free Dessert Squares.

Fluffer Nutter, Milky Way and S’mores are all peanut-free Snack Squares.

At this time all orders must be placed online in advance.  Orders can be ready for pickup as soon as 24 hours.  

Orders may be placed online or over the phone.

Payment is made at the time of order.

Your Squares can be picked up at the selected day and time specified during the ordering process at 807 Kingery Dr., Ripon CA 95366.  Arrangements can also be made to pick your Squares order up at any pop up event that we are at.

Squares can also be shipped to addresses within California.

At this time, we do not use third-party delivery services.  

We will try to accommodate changes in pickup time.  Please reach out to us by phone to request changes to delivery date and/or time.

Schedules are busy.  We attempt to reach out if a pickup window is missed, but if you missed your delivery, please give us a call and we will arrange a time for pick up.  

We are excited about orders of all sizes.  For orders over $300, please call us directly to place your order.

At this time, we are able to ship our Squares within California only.  As a cottage bakery, we are only allowed to sell to customers who can pick up our products or whom we can deliver our product to or shipped within California. 

We attempt to ship orders to deliver by the date selected, however we cannot guarantee delivery. 

We want your Squares to arrive in the best condition possible.  We will delay shipping on products if the weather at the origin or destination is forecasted to be over 90 degrees. 

NOTE: At this time we only ship within California.  If an order is placed for shipping to a
different state, the order will be canceled and the payment refunded. 

You will receive an order confirmation e-mail when your order is placed and a shipping confirmation e-mail with tracking information when your order has
shipped. Please ensure that your e-mail and contact information are correct at checkout to avoid any delay in your order confirmations. If you experience an issue with your order, please contact orders@squaresbakeship.com.  A member of our team will be in touch as soon as possible. Each issue is handled on a case-by-case basis.

As a policy, all Squares that ship are final sale. We do not accept returns or offer refunds on any order that is shipped. Any changes or cancellations to a
shipping order must be made 3 days in advance of the initially requested delivery date.

We do not offer refunds for delays caused by our shipping partners due to weather,
mechanical error, strikes, natural disaster, inaccurate shipping information, mistakes on the part of our shipping partners’ employees or similar reasons.

As a cottage bakery, we are not permitted to ship our products through a shipping service outside of California.  We hope at some time in the future to open a storefront that will allow us to ship our products to all of our Square’s fans.
